Aishveryaa Nidhi is an award-winning theatre personality and founding artistic director of Abhinay School of Performing Arts Inc.

She started Short and Sweet Bollywood festival by engaging Short+Sweet International to start a festival of a foreign art form for the first time in Sydney in 2015 and the festival takes place in Dubai, New Delhi, Mumbai, and other places.

She was invited by Opera Australia to be a coach for LAKME’for gestures, movement, and physicality. Sydney Theatre Company invited her to work in two productions,Leviathan in 2010 and The Other wayin 2013.

She was adjudged Outstanding person of the year by United India Associations in Sydney in 2014, South Asian Artist of the year in Melbourne on South Asia Day and is the winner of St George ‘Volunteer of the year award’ for her contribution to art & culture and literary work.

In 2021, Aishveryaa was honored by Congressman Mark Takano and declared one of the 24 incredible women of Indian origin in America, in recognition of her tireless and committed work impacting various communities and arts positively.

Aishveryaa continues to be a torchbearer of artistic freedom and is a regular speaker on art, culture, and films from Indian sub-continent.
